TIdy Up Time!

We know it's a little earlier than our normal Christmas open studio event, but we thought you might not be able to wait to see us!

Well, that, and we wanted to open in conjunction with other creative spaces as part of Erewash's Creative 10 celebrations.

We're celebrating ten years of Arts Development in Erewash with a series of events from open studios, to retrospective exhibitions, Christmas shows and lots of activities.

On September 17th, we will be open at Shed 2 Studios, and as always, you will be assured of a warm welcome, a cuppa and we might even provide cake.  At the same time, only a short stroll away over on Station Road, Maltby's Creative Mill are also having an open day with lots of activities. 

We're still ironing out the details of our exact times, who we might invite to guest with us and whether we're laying on any workshops, but save the date, and make time in your diary to check out the venue too!  Come back soon for more details

Homecoming...

Sadly, we have said goodbye to our photographer, Ewan Mathers at the end of last month, he's moving on to pastures new.  Ewan has been a great addition to Shed 2 studios, and he, his coffee and his cleaning skills will be missed!

We didn't get chance to be empty though for very long, as former resident, and one of the founder members, Rachel Carter got in touch and is now our newest member.

The last couple of years whilst Rachel has been gone have seen a lot of changes in her practice, so we are all looking forward to see how things have developed, and continue to watch for new, unique and innovative work.   We're sure Rachel will tell you more with her updates!
